Reviewer Responsibilities

Objectivity

Conduct reviews objectively and without personal bias. Critique the work, not the author. Support all evaluative comments with reasoned arguments and evidence from the manuscript.

Confidentiality

Treat all manuscripts as strictly confidential. Do not share, discuss, or use the content of a manuscript under review without prior authorization from the Editor-in-Chief.

Promptness

Complete reviews within the timeframe communicated at the point of assignment. If you are unable to review a manuscript, notify the Editorial Office promptly so that an alternative reviewer can be assigned without delay.

Conflict of Interest

Declare any potential conflict of interest before accepting a review assignment, and recuse yourself where necessary.

Constructive Feedback

Provide actionable, specific, and constructive feedback that assists authors in improving their manuscript, regardless of the final recommendation.

Source Acknowledgment

Identify any relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors, and bring any concerns regarding plagiarism or duplicate publication to the attention of the Editor-in-Chief.
